Shop around and you'll find Santa Fe Computer's prices and services to be very competitive. We're not afraid to show you our straight-forward pricing! We will give you an accurate quote depending on the work that needs to be performed.

We charge a flat rate of $85 per hour for our on-site services. Minimum charge is one hour, after that, billed at fifteen minute increments.

All emergency requests are $100 per hour (4 hour response time.)

Computer Hookup/Setup - Physically setup your PC or Mac computer system, including the computer plus monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Configuration of your new computer to access your existing Internet account and email account. Hookup a printer, external hard drive or other external device (device not included). Install software applications. Professionally dress all wires and cables.
Wireless Networking - Set up, configure and secure your router; protect your information and secure your broadband signal from use by others. Configuration of internet, including ISP (Internet Service Provider). Installation and configuration of a networking adapter on computers/devices (PC, laptop, gaming console, network Bluray/DVD player, network-enabled TV, etc.)
OS reload - For extreme cases of hard drive failure or malware attack. We'll back up your information, reload a fresh copy of Mac OS, Windows XP, Vista, 7, or Ubuntu Linux and migrate your documents and settings back over. Windows customers: applications will have to be reinstalled. We will reinstall what we can without installation CDs. (Extra costs apply if replacement hard drive is needed).
Virus Removal - Remove all traces of malware, spyware, and viruses. Optimize system with disk defragmenation and cleanup. Install anti-virus software if needed and remove underperforming A/V software. Assure proper functionality after viruses have been removed
Hard Drive Upgrade - Clone all data onto new hard drive and install into laptop or desktop. (Extra costs apply for new hard drive - Call for drive prices).
Memory Upgrade - Install larger ram modules in laptop or desktop to speed up application multitasking. Cost varies depending on amount of memory needed and capacity.
LCD replacement - Replace LCD display in laptop. Extra costs apply for LCD. (LCDs typically range from $100-$150).
Motherboard Replacement - Replace motherboard in laptop or desktop. Install BIOS updates and system updates for the motherboard. Extra costs apply for a replacement motherboard.
Power Jack Replacement - Remove and re-solder the powerjack onto the motherboard. This happens after moving the power adapter inside the jack so much that the center pin breaks from the casing and board. If you bring in a dead laptop and we find this to be the cause, we can save you from replacing the motherboard or entire laptop.
Data Recovery - We first deduce whether we can recover any data from the drive or if the drive is beyond recovery. If it is found to be beyond recovery, it can be recovered by our partner, Drive Savers. If we can recover data in our shop, we will begin immediately to recover time-sensitive data. The rate will vary depending on how much usable data we can recover.
